Another plant-inspired colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 will be releasing with the arrival of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Catechu.” This new Air Force 1 nods to “Catechu,” an extract of acacia trees used variously as a food additive, astringent, tannin, and dye. Taking a look at the sneaker we see the shoe start off with a white canvas construction that dominates the upper with a striking shade of pink placed on the canvas Swooshes, heel tab, and the tongue tag. The heel of the right shoe comes with the scientific name of the plant along with facts of the plant while the lateral heel of both shoes comes with a embroidered graphic of the plant itself. Cork detailing on the heels, a white rubber midsole, and a Dark Cinder rubber outsole wrap up the look on this Nike Air Force 1 Low that is expected to arrive at select retailers soon for $110.
