Designer Mark Wilkins recently unveiled two horror movie inspired customs from his very own brand VRTIGO.

The skateboard inspired customs pay homage to Chucky from the Bride of Chucky 1998 film and Michael Myers from the Halloween 2018 film.

Full of details from top to bottom, some features on the Chucky pair include the rainbow canvas upper representing the Chucky’s long sleeve thermal, bloody staples symbolizing those found on Chucky’s head and face, the distressed denim overlays paying homage to Chucky’s overalls and the tan calf suede paying tribute to the doll’s dirty skin.

The pair paying homage to Michael Myers is just as impressive as features on this model include the “damaged” leather underlays mimicking Michael’s damaged rubber mark, distressed lining symbolizing the hair from the mask, the midnight calf suede representing the mechanical suit, while the mud, blood and dirt on the midnight calf suede represents the “kill journey.” Each pair will also comes with a custom box and 2 sets of laces.

For those interested in getting a pair of these limited (each is limited to 500 numbered pairs) customs, the VRTIGO SB Kickflip Customs release on November 18th for the retail price of $300. Head on over to VRTIGO’s web page for more info on how to cop.

A portion of each sale will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America arts program to assist in giving more inner city kids a voice through arts.
