The Shoe Surgeon has teamed up with Jack Daniels, an official partner of the NBA, to create a custom Air Force 1 for All-Star Weekend. Only 67 pairs were created, to commemorate the 67th year of the NBA All Star Game, and it is inspired by the elements of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey whiskey.

This special Air Force 1 has been transformed from athletic wear to luxury by using single stitching (a technique used in Italian craft shoes) throughout, versus double stitching and reduced the number of panels to express the simplicity and craft of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.  Each material was meticulously chosen, including:

  • Vachetta tan leather accents, gold metal eyelets and leather lace with gold metal aglet- In honor of Tennessee Honey
  • Black Horween leather- This super premium/craft leather is made with the same care and attention that Jack Daniel’s uses to make their whiskey.
  • Dark brown distressed leather w/russet undertones- This leather will age with each wear, representative of Jack’s barrel aging process

Anyone who will be in Los Angeles this weekend (February 17th and 18th) can stop by the Lynchburg General Store pop-up at 903 W. Olympic Blvd. from 10am to 11am for a chance to win a pair of their own and experience a taste of Jack Daniel’s ancestral home. A raffle for seven pairs will be held each day at 11AM. Wristbands will be distributed starting at 10AM. Participants in the raffle must be 21 years or older to enter. Seven pairs of shoes will also be given away on social media; follow @jackdaniels_US for more information and a chance to win.
