The official backstory of this Nike Kobe A.D. DeRozan PE revealed it to be DeMar DeRozan’s memory of watching Kobe Bryant play against Utah in the 1997 playoffs. Featuring a colorway of light bone, white and pale grey across its upper, the date of the memory, May 12, 1997, is featured on the shoe’s lace tips. A picture of the street that DeRozan grew up in Compton is featured on the sockliner, while the Kobe logo, DNA symbol and signature on the heel tabs are a nod to the Utah Jazz.

Look for the Nike Kobe A.D. DeRozan PE at select Nike stores and online on April 12 for a retail price tag of $160.
