Back in 2011, Concepts linked up with New Balance to release one of the best New Balance collabs of all-time, the Concepts x New Balance 999 Kennedy. Now in 2017, the highly coveted collab will be making a return and you will be able to find it this weekend exclusively at ComplexCon.

The Concepts x New Balance 999 Kennedy is inspired by president John F. Kennedy and his deep love and passion for sailing, a sport/activity that’s very popular in the city of Boston. Designed by then Concepts employee Frank the Butcher, the shoe marked the first link-up between Concepts and New Balance. This epic release was huge for both brands that helped propel them both to the next level in the sneaker world.

The Made in USA sneaker comes with an upper done in Beige, Grey, Off-White and Blue suede panels. The midsole and outsole come in a combination of Grey, Off-White and White. Sailing/nautical vibes can be found on the shoe by way of the lining and laces that feature Blue and Red sea-faring graphics.

Look for the Concepts x New Balance 999 Kennedy to to re-release on Sunday, November 5th at ComplexCon for the retail price of $200.
