If you thought that the Question Mid Snake 2.0 would be the only collaboration that BAIT and Reebok will be releasing during All-Star Weekend, then you were wrong. The two have linked up to give us TWO more collabs in the form of a DMX Run 10 and the contemporaryDMX Fusion.

Known as the “Ideation Department”, BAIT studied the Reebok archives and decided to pay homage to the ideation process behind the DMX Run 10. The design takes into consideration the original notations of DMX Run 10 designer Bill Marvin and superimposes them over the technical drawings of the DMX sole-unit technology, using layers of transparent TPU across the upper. An Isometric Grid pattern is utilized as a nod to the blank pages before sketching. The tongue and eyelets have been updated for a modern take on a classic silhouette. A transparent white outsole runs along the bottom, for a clean design. The insole carries the original sketches of Bill Marvin, which tell a deeper story of how the DMX Run 10 was developed.

The DMX Fusion is a contemporary take on the DMX lineage. BAIT superimposes it’s design notations over the DMX fusion technical drawings. Using layers of transparent TPU and fuse technology, multiple layers of design can be seen when taking a closer look. Static patterned black and reflective 3M knit is used on the second portion of the upper. The DMX Fusion is capable of multiple lacing systems that utilize the knit and fused eyelets on the sides. Technical drawings of the DMX sole units are featured on the insoles, while a smoked transparent outsole supports the bottom.
