Converse Hoops will be releasing a new quartet of sneakers that makes up the “Hi Visibility” and “Polar Light” Collections.

Since Converse’s return to performance basketball with the flagship All Star Pro BB in 2019, it has locked in a tight community of athletes and a range of product that champions performance and self-expression through individual style. This holiday, Converse releases its latest colorways, which are designed to give your game an edge on-court and eye-catching style off-court.

With an emphasis on four styles: the All Star BB Evo, G4, Pro Leather Hi and the Pro Leather Ox, the lineup sees new color concepts take the classic basketball styles from street courts to the arctic this holiday season.

“Hi Vis” combines glow in the dark performance outsoles with pops of neons, such as Green Glow, Lemon Venom and Hyper Magenta, while “Polar Lights” feature iced outsoles, contrasting pop colors and a speckled design as a nod the natural lights that cut through the darkest skies.

All Star BB EVO:

The newest addition to Converse’s performance basketball footwear lineup, the All Star BB Evo is designed for those who play with a fluid style. It provides lightweight flexibility and responsiveness through Nike React technology, while being inspired by the bold originality of the original basketball sneaker, Chuck Taylor All Star.

The All Star BB Evo Hi Vis sees the shoes 50/50 split material upper design in all-over white and black versions, both colorways rest atop a glow-in-the-dark outsole, while the All Star BB Evo Polar Lights manifests in an ice cold Minus White upper with vibrant pops of Volt and Cactus Flower on the blurred Star Chevron logo. A multi-colored speckled heel panel serves as a nod to the natural lights that cut through the darkest skies while a plus/minus graphic references the competitive NBA stat.

The Converse G4 is designed for those with an explosive style of play, providing maximum energy return through a dynamic combo of Nike React foam in the heel and Nike Zoom Air in the forefoot.

The Converse G4 Hi Vis shares bright and bold color details and a glow-in-the-dark rubber cup sole with herringbone traction in two iterations; a Lenom Venom low-top with Hyper Magenta, and a Flash Orange mid-top with Sunset Glow detailing. With the G4 Polar Lights, a monotone storm wind low-top features suede and mesh overlays on the upper, with subtle pops of speckled color pops throughout as well as the same polar heel graphic seen on the concept’s All Star BB Evo.

Pro Leather:

Made famous by Julius “Dr. J” Erving, the Pro Leather was part of many game-changing moments. Today’s silhouette has been upgraded for improved fit and function, as well as distinct off-court style.

This holiday season, the Pro Leather rounds out both concepts seeing the shoe appear in classic white iterations, but with translucent pops of neon replacing the traditionally classic colors of the Star Chevron in the Pro Leather Hi Vis. A black high top emphasizes neon the glow in the dark touches on the outsole, heel stay, and Star Chevron on the Pro Leather Glow in The Dark. Lastly, monotone iterations of the Pro Leather and Pro Leather X2 appear in white – with an icy translucent outsole, along with metallic and black colorways.

The Converse Hi-Vis colorways will release globally online at on October 21, while Polar Lights will be available for the holiday season.
