Vans SK8-Hi

Another Vans ComfyCush series will be making its debut tomorrow. The latest pack has them teaming up with San Francisco-based retailer The Darkside Initiative.

The Darkside Initiative x Vans Vault ComfyCush LX Pack will consist of the Vans Sk8-Hi and Vans Old Skool. Rocking the same motif, each pair comes dressed in a Black and Orange aesthetic said to be inspired by the Philadelphia Flyers. Why this NHL team ?The inspiration dates back to when Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins said that he “Didn’t Like Any Guy On Their Team.” So during Game 4 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Flyers wore shirts reading “We Don’t Like You Either”, which is written on both heels of the shoes. The upper is then placed on top of a White rubber sole and Orange outsole to round out the main features of the shoe.

Releasing on February 16th, the The Darkside Initiative x Vans Vault ComfyCush LX Pack can be found at both TDI shops in SF as well as on their webstore. The Sk8-Hi will retail for $140, and the Old Skool for $130.
