Next up for the Under Armour Curry 6 is this brand new colorway dubbed the Under Armour Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow. Made for the sneakerhead who also loves cars, this colorway of the model pays homage to Oakland’s sideshow culture.

Oakland has always had a deep love for automobiles. According to local historians, the Town’s car culture stretches back to the eighties, when pop-up parties called “Sideshows” began to appear in mall parking lots in East Oakland. The parties grew as hip-hop music formed roots in The Town and have grown ever since; cars and Oakland culture are inseparable now, and the unofficial “Sideshow” exhibitions speak to that tradition and community.

Standing out from many of the bright and beautiful machines that roll down Broadway, the Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow colorway is a more subtle affair. The shoe comes dressed in a dark grey upper with orange accents. It will contain Stephen’s quick movements on court with its knit upper and help him blow past defenders with its full-length speed plate. The Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow rides atop serious rubber and a split outsole design that increases court contact for better traction. The full-length HOVR midsole will keep Stephen close to the ground with explosive energy return while he runs circles around the opposition.

Before the Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow colorway hits retail, it’s going virtual via an exclusive NBA2K MyTEAM Challenge. The “UA Ruin The Game Challenge” pits gamers against a team of all Curry players to not only beat them, but break Stephen’s career-record 13 three pointers in a game. If you beat Team Curry – 10 Stephen’s, 2 Dell Curry’s and 1 Seth Curry – and hit 14 threes, you’ll be rewarded with an exclusive limited-time code to unlock the Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow in game before anyone else, along with a nice pile of MyTEAM points for the squad. The UA Ruin the Game Challenge runs February 22-28.

If video games aren’t your thing and you just want to buy the shoes, the Under Armour Curry 6 Oakland Sideshow will release on March 1st, alongside a matching Stance sock at select retailers and UA.com for the retail price of $130.

Have you had the chance to try on a pair of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn? Originally released back in 2013, UA brings back the basketball model and it’s better than ever.

The 2019 version of the Under Armour Anatomix Spawn takes many cues from its predecessor. The upper design is directly inspired by the loud, psychedelic visual of the original Spawn. The flowing red and blue pattern on the upper are inspired by the numerous muscles, tendons and ligaments that make up the foot, calling back to the original ideation of the Anatomix Spawn; a shoe built around the anatomy of the foot.

This Spawn also features an improved version of Micro G cushioning. A multi-level 3D adaptive traction pattern provides unrivaled floor grip in any conditions via co-efficient friction, providing more strength than the original Spawn. The breathable vamp material offsets the TX/TPU layering on the upper, ensuring breathability without sacrificing stability and support. An internal counter pocket in the heel provides complete lock down for the heel, ensuring a snug fit. The Under Armour team added flexibility in the forefoot without losing stability, by adding lacing all the way up to the forefoot with a rubber wrap, ensuring maximum flex without the fear of rolling off the ball of the foot.

The Under Armour Anatomix Spawn is now available at UA.com and select retailers such as Kicks Store for the retail price of $110.
