The shoe you see above is the latest collab between STAMPD and Puma. Dubbed the STAMPD x Puma Suede 88-18, the images was recently shared by Chris Stamp (owner of Los Angeles-based brand STAMPD) and is said to be the latest collab that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Puma Suede.

The STAMPD x Puma Suede 88-18 consists of a Suede model done in a two-toned Black and Grey finish. Constructed out of Italian suede, the shoe also comes with a White midsole, Black laces and matching Black leather lining. The lone image shows no STAMPD branding, but Puma Suede branding does appear on the side paneling. Also worth mentioning is the minimal branding noted on the lateral side of the heel.

No release date for the STAMPD x Puma Suede 88-18 has been announced but we can expect more info to surface shortly. Stay tuned.

PUMA continues to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic PUMA Suede as today we bring you a look at the latest release which is a collaboration with Northern Cali natives and skate culture icons Santa Cruz Skateboards.

Known as the oldest skate brand and has never stopped production since its beginnings, Santa Cruz was founded in 1973 by surfers Rich Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman in Santa Cruz, CA. The brand gained worldwide buzz thanks to its rad designs and loud graphics.

The Santa Cruz x PUMA Suede features a black suede upper with Santa Cruz’s signature “Screaming Hand” logo placed on the side of each heel.  The blue hand is literally screaming, a mouth gapes open wide at the center of the palm, tongue out, teeth on display. The inspiration behind the logo was about the power of the hand, the way we use our hands to express ourselves through words, art and music. The Screaming Hand logo has become a skateboarding icon and is recognized widely throughout the skate community. The Formstrip becomes the scream, a wave of red sound and adrenaline. The shoe then sits atop a gum rubber sole. The PUMA and Santa Cruz logo is featured on the sneaker tongue. Complementing the sneaker is the PUMA x Santa Cruz Tee which makes it a highly collectible pack.

The Santa Cruz x PUMA Suede and tee will be available on PUMA.com and leading sneaker retailers on July 26th.
