Nike LeBron

LeBron James is arguably not only the most influential NBA player of this generation, but overall athlete. And while King James is one of the best on the court, he is also known for doing some amazing things off the court. During the Summer of 2018 LeBron James opened up his very own “I Promise” School, a school for under-privileged kids in the inner-city of his hometown of Akron, Ohio that serves kids grades 1-8.

LeBron James and his Lebron James Family Foundation took it a step further today as they decided to surprise his kids by gifting them over 800 pairs of his Nike LeBron 16s in 10 different colorways to choose from. Every child in the school was able to go home with a fresh pair of Brons and the smiles on their faces says all you need to know. Big ups to LeBron James for taking care of the kids and always giving back to the community.

We already knew that the Nike LeBron 7 Red Carpet was going to make a comeback in 2019, but we now have first images of the shoe along with another surprise.

The Nike LeBron 7 Red Carpet looks pretty much identical to the 2009 release and features a White/Black-Glass Blue-Chilling Red color combination with a white leather and black ballistic material dominating the shoe. Bright blue accents on the Swoosh logos, upper eyelets, inner liner, and the LeBron logo along with subtle hits of red provide a pop of color on the shoe. Down below we see a full-length Air Max unit and a translucent outsole. A nice adde detail as you can see in the images above is that the shoe will be coming with the OG box design from 2009.

Look for the Nike LeBron 7 Red Carpet to release on October 29th at select Nike retailers and online for $200.
