New Balance

New Balance will be releasing a brand new model next month dubbed the New Balance X-Racer.

Shown in three different colorways above, the New Balance X-Racer is said to be the second model from NB’s X-series (New Balance X-90 was the first). The New Balance X-Racer takes inspiration from under the radar silhouettes from the mid ’90s and early ’00s running models that include the M1200, RC205, M1000. This was done in an effort to give the consumer further insight into the New Balance archive.

The New Balance X-Racer celebrates the past by looking to the future. The upper is inspired by archival performance footwear, but with an ABZORB midsole and tread outsole that reflects current race models such as the 1400. The X-Racer takes Sport Style in a contemporary direction while still remaining authentic to New Balance’s heritage.

Check out all three colorways above and look for the New Balance X-Racer to release on July 1st at select retailers and NewBalance.com for the retail price of $90.

Above you will get a good look at the Concepts x New Balance 997S Esruc collaboration. This latest collab between Concepts and New Balance is centered around a New Balance 997S that is inspired by the classic rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

Dubbed as Concepts x New Balance 997S Esruc (Curse backwards), the shoe is a nod to the infamous Curse of the Bambino, when the Red Rox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in 1920.

Instead of going for a Red Sox or Yankees colors scheme/theme, the shoe opts to go with a color blocking representing the posters for the Broadway musical No, No, Nanette. What you end up getting is a 997S done in a Magenta pigskin suede upper with Pink and Orange accents placed throughout the shoe Other details include the reflective hits, White laces, custom insoles, all while being placed on top of the modernized Encap Reveal midsole. The release will also come with special packaging that further adds to the aesthetic of the drop.

The Concepts x New Balance 997S Esruc drops on June 28th exclusively at Patta London for the retail price of $200.
