The final release from the Dragon Ball Z x adidas Originals Collection is officially unveiled as adidas presents a duo of colorways inspired by one of the cult Japanese anime series’ most iconic character.

For the final release in the series, adidas Originals takes inspiration from Shenrong, the Eternal Dragon who is summoned when all 7 Dragon Balls have been collected. Appearing in many of the series’ most iconic moments, the dragon’s legendary status is the perfect end to adidas Originals’ collaborative series, and the two models created spare no expense in paying tribute to Shenrong’s form.

First up, the adidas EQT Support ADV PK silhouette has been rendered in Shenrong’s classic green and gold form, featuring a newly-engineered Primeknit upper designed to replicate the dragon’s reptile scales which is underpinned by the reptile scale leather heel counter, while a gold panel around the heel references his underbelly.  Embroidered kanji lettering completes the picture, placed atop a classic EQT midsole with embossed 3-stripe mark.

A second take on the EQT Support ADV PK model, available exclusively from the adidas Originals online store in highly limited numbers, switches the design up with allover gold appearance. The model’s textured Primeknit upper with contrasting textures on the forefoot and heel is finished with embroidered kanji lettering and accents, finished with an all-black EQT midsole. Presented alongside its green and gold counterpart, the result is a striking finale to the Dragon Ball Z series, celebrating arguably the most powerful character in the Dragon Ball Z universe.

Look for both colorways of the Dragon Ball Z x adidas EQT Support Mid ADV Shenron to release on December 22nd for $170 each.
