February may sound like it’s a long time from now, but it’s actually closer than we think. That being said, the SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning collab is set to make its debut during the month of February, but SoleFly owner, Carlos Prieto is prepping for the release by getting ready to hook up some of his closest celebrity friends with a customized pair.

The  SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low Lightning is a nod to Michael Jordan debuting the “Lightning” Air Jordan 17 Low in the 2002 NBA All-Star Game. The collab with SoleFly is said to be an “Alternate” version of that very same sneaker. The shoe comes dressed in a bold Lightning (Yellow) leather upper accented by the Black and Metallic Silver placed throughout the upper and sole unit. The Black on the eyestay and collar appear to come with a bit of a reptile texture that further adds to the luxe design of the shoe. Above you will see Carlos Prieto adding some embroidery work on to some of the pairs that will soon be given out to his closest friends. Releasing February, stay tuned as more info begins to surface.
