Above you will get a good look at the DOE x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost 2019/Micropacer. This collab is between Shanghai-based boutique DOE and adidas Consortium in celebration of the boutique’s fifth anniversary.

The collab introduces a new hybrid model that combines aesthetics of the adidas Ultra Boost 2019 and adidas Micropacer to create a brand new look. Based on a concept of “0 to 1,” DOE’s co-created design is all about breaking to build — namely, pulling key pieces from the Ultra Boost and the Micropacer, then melding them together to create a new-yet-familiar style.

Details include the Primeknit upper dressed almost entirely in a soft grey shade with the exception of the small hit of ice blue on the heel. It also comes with a one-piece grey synthetic sheath that combines the regular UB’s midfoot cage with the Micropacer’s large throat cover. DOE branding on the right foot and a standard adidas logo on the left foot is added to the design, as are the co-branded tongue tags and insoles. Lastly, a White Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole complete the look.

The DOE x adidas Consortium Ultra Boost 2019/Micropacer will retail for  ¥27,000 JPY (approx. $247 USD) and will release exclusively in-store at atmos Sendagaya on November 8. This will be accompanied by a DOE pop-up that runs until November 10, during which customers can enter a lottery to win a friends & family iteration of the hybrid silhouette. A global release is scheduled for November 21.
