Following its debut overseas, the Nike Kybrid S2 “Sashiko” will finally release stateside this month and it’s notably inspired by the form of decorative reinforcement stitching that derived from Japan.

Blending design elements from Kyrie Irving’s past three signature models including the 4, 5 and 6, the model dons a clean cream woven upper, while the heel counter and Swoosh branding are reinforced with the Japanese Sashiko stitching method. The design also pays homage to the classic SB logo that has been re-imagined with “Nike BB” on the tongue and heel.

Retailing for $140, look for the Nike Kybrid S2 “Sashiko” at select Nike stockists nationwide and online on September 26. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
