The classic Nike Kobe 6 “Orange County” from 2011 will be returning next year in the Protro form in celebration of its 10 anniversary, according to sources. The colorway was a nod to the 2011 NBA All-Star Game and took inspiration from Southern California. Images of the 2021 Protro version have not surfaced online yet but is suggested to reflect its 2011 OG counterpart (featured above). A gradient of orange and yellow adorns its snakeskin-like uppers to evoke the dramatic Cali sunset, while an illustrated starfish on the insoles and black/teal-colored outsoles top off the design.

Retailing for $180, look for the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Orange County” at select Nike stockists and online sometime during Fall 2021. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
