Yeah, we’re still waiting on that $500 shirt colorway, Rocky…

Yesterday came news that the long-awaited Project Rock x Under Armour Delta Trainer kicks was finally dropping, and as one might expect, most sizes were sold out in a few minutes. The Rock has been with Under Armour for a minute now and while we’ve been copping a Project Rock shirt here and there, it’s the kicks that we were itching to get some time with. Thankfully we were a short drive away from the UA Brand House at the Americana in Glendale and when I spoke to the employees there they still had my size available. As a longtime fan of The Rock, I was pretty hyped to cop them… until they didn’t have my size 11 by the time I got there. I felt like I just took a Rock Bottom and People’s Elbow combo at that moment.

Fortunately, they still have a size 9.5 in house that I promptly shot for the purposes of this video (and ordered a size 8.5 that was still available online). That trip ended up being an expensive one as I bought not only The Rock’s kicks, I also bought a grey colorway of the UA Threadborne Slingflex for my dad (aka the cameraman for the video intro) and the UA Speedform Europa for my sister. Lesson learned: always go solo…
