Under Armour recently unveiled a brand new hybrid model dubbed the Under Armour HOVR Summit Fat Tire. Part of UA’s Street to Summit collection which aims to create products that are perfect for a modern, on-the-go lifestyle — this footwear is said to be versatile enough for daily street style while also being rugged enough for a grueling hike.

The Under Armour HOVR Summit Fat Tire takes inspiration from Under Armour’s 2015 Fat Tire line and combining it with UA’a fan favorite modern HOVR cushioning. Details on the model include an upper built from durable synthetics such as ripstop and neoprene. The upper also features a unique rope lacing system that goes over the forefoot and midfoot before meeting up right above the throat. This type of lacing system provides you with an easily adaptable fit inspired by a samurai’s armor. The midsole is constructed with a 360 HOVR foam build, contained by a “mesh energy web.” The HOVR foam works with another bottom-loaded layer of foam and a lugged Michelin rubber outsole, combining the energy return of a running shoe with the all-terrain grip of a boot. One of the lifestyle images you see above also shows that the shoe comes with a zip-off cuff option tgat provides with with another look and added stability. The zip-off cuff option will be introduced in early 2021.

Retailing for $170, the Under Armour HOVR Summit Fat Tire is now available at UA.com and select retailers. Hurry, sizes are selling out rather quickly.
