Jordan Brand will be releasing a handful of new OG (Nike Air branded) colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High throughout all of 2018. One of those colorways is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Hyper Royal.

This brand new colorway of the Jordan 1 High OG opts for a bit of a tonal finish as the majority of the upper comes dressed in what appears to be a Hyper Royal Blue leather finish. The same hue can be found on the laces, lining, nylon tongue and outsole. Breaking up the tonal look is the use of Sail noted on the midsole, Swoosh, Wings and Nike Air branding on the tongue.

New details of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Hyper Royal surface, and according to Foot Locker, the colorway celebrates the 30th anniversary of Spike Lee’s 1998 “He Got Game” film starring Ray Allen, and the colors used are a nod to Jesus Shuttlesworth’s Lincoln High School. The shoe basically keeps it simple with hyper royal blue for its leather upper and contrasting sail used for the branding and midsole to complete the design altogether.
