The 1992 U.S.A Olympic basketball team was the OG (and only) Dream Team, but didi you know what Shaquille O’neal (from LSU at the time) was not chosen to be on the team and the team actually opted for Duke’s Christian Laettner? Yeah, I’d consider that a snub as well as the inspiration behind the Reebok Shaq Attaq Dream Team Snub.

The Reebok Shaq Attaq Dream Team Snub is the latest inspired look that also celebrates the model’s 25th Anniversary. This special version of the Reebok Shaq Attaq comes dressed in a Olympic-esque color scheme that includes Blue and Purple neoprene accents as a nod to the Nike Air Flight Huarache that Christian Laettner wore during his time at Duke. The rest of the shoe comes in a White leather upper accented by the Navy and Red hits placed throughout. Additional features include the Golden accents on the midsole and the Shaq logo on the back heel crossed out with an “X”  as a nod to the snub. Pretty creative inspiration, right? Stay tuned for an official release date.
