CLOT and Converse will soon be dropping a collaborative version of the One Star. Today we get a first look at that project and see how it differentiates from your typical One Star release.

The CLOT x Converse One Star comes dressed in a hairy suede upper. Most of the shoe comes in Black, while the White hits act as the accent color. Other notable features on the shoe include the Chinese characters on the midsole, as well as the Ying Yang symbol on the lateral side of the midsole. The Chinese characters come from the Analects of Confucius and roughly translate to “Ancient scholars for themselves, today’s Scholars for people,” which is a reference to the Confucian thought process that the search for knowledge should be motivated by ones self rather than the recognition of others. A collab with some thought and meaning behind it, I like that. You dig? Stay tuned for release info.
