What, y’all though the Nike Cortez celebration was finished!? Far from it. The next big thing that celebrates the model’s 45th anniversary is this collab between NIKEiD and Olivia Kim (VP, Creative Projects at Nordstrom). This release pays tribute to Kim’s favorite pair of Navy nylon/suede Cortez from the mid-‘70s. Adding a bit of her own style and flair to the classic color scheme is the use of Pink accents noted on the midsole. Additional vintage features include the off-white label, the discolored sole unit, and the unfinished tongue.

Above you will find the shoe in Navy, but White and Black nylon and suede options with Navy and White Swoosh branding will also be available.

“The Cortez is an iconic sneaker and a staple of LA style and youth culture,” says Kim. “I’ve been wearing Nikes since I was a kid, and the Senorita Cortez from the late ’70s was the first Cortez I remember. For the 45th Anniversary of Cortez, and as a tribute to that sneaker, I wanted to reinterpret it with some original elements but flower it with a bit of 2017.”

The Nike Cortez Premium iD by Olivia Kim will be available available starting June 17 at Nordstrom x Nike in select Nordstrom stores, and June 19 on nike.com/nikeid.
